The opening of the first seal is the beginning of the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 6:1-2 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.” So I looked and saw a white horse, and its rider held a bow. And he was given a crown, and he rode out to overcome and conquer.

The Rider

The rider of the white horse is the Son of God, the lion of the tribe of Judah — Jesus Christ. He is the one who opens up the first seal.

However, the sons of God will represent Jesus Christ — the Lamb, and the lion of the tribe of Judah at the beginning of his revelation —the opening of the first seal.

The 144,000 Israelite Saints

So, the revelation of Jesus Christ starts with the sons of God. They are the 144,000 Israelite saints of the book of Revelation.

Revelation 14:1 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

The Multitude

Moreover, the “multitude” mentioned in the book of Revelations are those who washed their robes in the blood of the lamb. They are also children of God.

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Additionally, the “144,000 Israelites” and the “multitude” of the book of Revelation are also the “two witnesses” of the last days. They will represent the tribes of Judah and Israel.

The Bow

Now, the bow held by the rider of the white horse in this vision represents the tribe of Judah.

Zechariah 9:13 For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, And raised up your sons, O Zion, Against your sons, O Greece, And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”

Furthermore, the 144,000 sons of God will represent the tribe of Judah.

Overcoming And Conquering

The sons of God will overcome and conquer just as the Lord Jesus did. They will be given authority over the nations.

Revelation 2:26 The one who conquers and who keeps my works to the end: I will give him authority over the nations —

God will consider those who overcome to be his sons. They are the sons of God.

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The Sons Of God

The sons of God are what the whole creation has been waiting for according to Apostle Paul.

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God

The Crown

The first seal will conclude when the Son of God, Jesus Christ has been completely revealed. He will rule on earth with the sons of God.

Moreover, the “sons of God” and the “multitudes” will overcome and conquer just as the lion of the tribe of Judah did. They will ride on white horses also following the Son of God. They will be given authority to rule with Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:11Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, He judges and makes war. 12His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

Conclusion

The first seal is opened by the Son of God, the rider of the white horse. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. And those who will overcome and conquer just as he did, will ride on white horses also and they will rule the world on Mount Zion —the kingdom of God. The sons of God are the 144,000 Israelites and the multitudes — the faithful and chosen. They will also represent the tribes of Judah and Israel.

That’s is it for now my friends. I hope you’ve learned something from this blog. The next blog is about the opening of the “second seal”. Until then, may God bless you!
