How “Knowledge” Will Increase In The Last Days

According to the Bible, “knowledge” will increase in the last days.

Daniel 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Knowledge Has Increased

If you are living in today’s modern world, it would seem like this prophecy of the Prophet Daniel is already happening.

The advancement of technology is undisputable evidence that “knowledge” is increasing in these “last days” or “time of the end.”

But does this “knowledge” only apply to technological advancements?

The answer to this question is no.

Actually, I truly believe that the prophecy is not referring to the increase in the “knowledge” for the advancement of technology but rather it is referring to the increase in the “knowledge” of the LORD.

God’s Holy Mountain

Moreover, this “knowledge” of the LORD will occur when people finally understand the meaning of God’s Holy Mountain as the Prophet Isaiah prophesied in the following verse.

Isaiah 11:9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

Seeing the light

Indeed, The LORD Almighty will shine His light on people so that they will understand the truth.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Revelation Of The Son Of God

Furthermore, the Son of God will show himself to the believers spiritually and they will understand the mystery of God as the following verse explains.

Colossians 2:2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, which is Christ,

The Love of Christ

Once people understand this mystery, believers will walk in the light and the Son of God, Jesus Christ will lead them to experience the love of the Father, Yahweh.

Ephesians 3:14… for this reason I bow my knees before the Father,from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Conclusion

The prophecy of the prophet Daniel about “knowledge” increasing in the last days is not about the knowledge that is used to advance technology but instead, it is about the increase of the knowledge of the LORD God almighty.
