Introduction To The Kingdom Of God

Welcome brothers and sisters. I hope to shed some light as to what the Kingdom Of God is all about.

So what exactly is the kingdom of God?

The Kingdom Of God has 3 Parts that we know of based on what the Scriptures tell us about it:

1.) Our life in the world, where we are being pre-qualified by God to inherit his kingdom.
2.) The 1,000-Year Millennial rule of Yeshua The Messiah (Jesus Christ)
3.) When YHWH Elohim creates a new heaven and a new earth where his kingdom will continue on forever and ever.

The way we choose to live our lives here in the world will determine whether God will grant us the privilege to participate in his coming kingdom. God had set up rules or commandments, for his people to follow.  Every person who wants to gain life everlasting needs to follow these commandments.

“Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.” –Proverbs 7:2

A person commits a sin every time he violates one of God’s  commandments.  God does not want us to commit sins.  God wants us to be obedient to him.

“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole [duty] of man.”  -Ecclesiastes 12:13

And by doing so, we will inherit the promise of everlasting life in his kingdom.

Furthermore,  Our Father, YHWH God almighty sent his only begotten son(Jesus Christ) to proclaim the “good news” to the world and to rule over his kingdom.

But he said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” –Luke 4:3

Jesus also said that if we want to “enter life” we should keep or follow God’s commandments.

“And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?” And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.” –Matthew 19:16-17

I will expand more on this topic in my future postings.
